Nostravolish Rebellion

The Conflict

Prelude

The prelude to the rebellion was the enslavement act which started in the year 3587. A large portion of the Nostralovish were enslaved by lovians, and the it angered the gods, and the chief. The main build up was the final massacre's which happened in year 4560. The massacre was responsible for the death of 1/2 of the Nostravolish population at the time.

Battlefield

The main battles happened in the capital city of Lovely, but there was a few battles that took place in the Nostravolish village. The Nostravolish won a lot of the battles, and began striking fear in the hearts of lovians.

Outcome

The outcome of this war was lovians having fear for the Nostravolish people. The Nostravolish people for a bit of time right after the war were labeled as "violent" and "uncivilized" people. The Chief of the Nostravolish people became a hated figure by the lovians, and feared by the Lovian royal family.

Aftermath

The long term effects of the war was the equality and lesser hate and oppression towards the Nostravolish people from the Lovian people. The Nostravolish also were given land, and full rights. The land they received isn't gated but they are allowed to attack adults that go onto their land without the chief's permission.

Historical Significance

In Literature

After the war many studies were done on the Nostravolish people, and books were published about experiences people had while volunteering to live the Nostralovish lifestyle. One of the most popular books were titled "The Great Principles of the Nostravolish" which was written by Olivia Lovely. Olivia helped humanized the lovians, and allow the lovians to see the reality of how life used to be for the nostravolish.

Strength

The Nostravolish people were very strong through selective breeding, and even if a low number of people left during the war they had supernatural powers. The gods were on there side, and helped them have endurance, as well as strength.

They had a lot of power due to being the leaders of the Lovely planet. The government was powerful, but their main source of power was the powers of the royal family. There were 100 people with royal blood in them at the time, and almost all of them were in the military.

Casualties

The Nostravolish people lost 3/4 of there population after the war, but they managed to win nonetheless. The number is estimated to be around 3 million people that died from the war on the Nostravolish side.

The lovians lost 30 million people, and 89 of them had royal blood. Many cities were also destroyed in the process, leaving a 100 million people homeless, and jobless. Farms were destroyed as well.

Objectives

To gain freedom, equality, and allowed to live there old way of life.

To keep there power over the Nostralovish people, and keep them enslaved.
