Sticktics

Parasite

Stickertics are brown in color. Their long stinger is used like a stick pin. If the stick pin penetrates the skin, it immediately sends a thick glue-lie substance into their victim.

Basic Information

Anatomy

If the stickpin is not removed within three minutes the entire Sticktic is absorbed into the vicitim's flesh. Unlike common ticks, the Stickertic cannot be removed surgically. The parasite becomes a part of it's host. Host's include deer, Hamlet residents and guests, wild boars and porpines.

Genetics and Reproduction

Sticktics can reproduce while pricking their host. Victims are eventually overwhelmed by hatching eggs and die. The hatchlings jump to a nearby tree or plant to wait for a passerby. Older Sticktics hide in tree branches where they can easiy drop ont a Hamlet resident or pet head. Hamlet residents are known for their bushy heads of hair. The Sticktics sit there until night time approaches. They prepare for an attack when their victims dream. Dreams result in vibration.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Sticktics eat leftovers. Since their hosts are no longer able to eat without itching, their food spills from their mouths and onto to their shirts. Sticktics move from lower host appendages to the neck for easy access to food and drips. Their favorite food is coffee ice cream. The dairy and sugar is an ingredient in their sprays.

Behaviour

Sticktics are aware of their surroundings. They do not fear a host approaching. They will attempt to find a host anywhere. When a Sticktic does not find a host, it dies. These parasites are used to munching off other Animalia.

Additional Information

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

The Sticktic is a highly sensitive creature. It doesn't like vibration. If a host begins to dance, it will spray parasitic juice into hosts close by. Bitten Hamlet residents are sent to special wards of the Hamlet hospital to live out their lives.
