This was written by Io, a srirling native to the Ceccene Desert as a last ditch effort to make money. Ze wrote it as a last ditch effort to make money after leaving zeir society and promptly descending into poverty. Luckily for zer, the novel was a massive success, and ze made an insane amount of money off of it, which ze now uses to better their town and live comfortably.

Public Reaction

This book was quite well received, and sold thousands of copies within its first few years in print. Most adults and teenagers who read it agree that it is well written and intriguing, though it is often considered quite scary to younger audiences, something that either leads people to not read it to children or intentionally read it to children to scare them.
