Alternate Paladin and Cleric rules

We all know that paladins and clerics typically get their power from a divine being, but sadly this world does not have any of the sort. Paladins gain their magic from within, by devoting a large portion of their soul to their oath. If they are deemed worthy by their universe, they will gain their magical abilities, so long as they use them to fulfill their oath. They can also gain their power through devotion to a horror. Paladins can be ordained by the Creator, the Destroyer, the Giver, the Trickster, and the Child. The Destroyer often creates casters for more malicious purposes, and more commonly creates warlocks. If they accept, they become one of his dark minions. Clerics work in a different way, gaining their power through appeasing spirits or pledging themselves to horrors, typically good aligned horrors. They can be allegiant to various different things, but the only common thread is their faith. For example, a cleric of the nature spirit OrrO, who primarily is focused on teaching the bringing of life might be gain life cleric powers. The cleric domain they receive depends on both the creature they swear their allegiance to and the focus they have in their studies. A cleric of the Destroyer might be a war domain cleric, or a tempest cleric, wheras a cleric of a the Giver might be a life cleric or a nature cleric. Clerics can be created by the Giver, the Kind One, and the Destroyer.
Paladins, clerics, and warlocks of the horrors do exist relatively commonly, but in Ebelar there are alternate means of gaining these powers other than horrors. However, horror sponsored casters are typically more in tune with their sponsor and are therefore typically more powerful than ones from other sources, though this is not a rule.
