Vanamoinen the Deathless Character in Lorrimor’s Legacy | World Anvil

Vanamoinen the Deathless

Vanamoinen of Caromarc, called the Deathless   With an average height and build this young man has a hawkish demeanor with a piercing gaze; a diagonal scar crosses his nose and cheek and a faint smirk adorns his face. He carries no visible weapons and is garbed in a supple double-breasted leather shirt, a long hooded worn and tattered leather travelling cloak with a high collar, faded gray pants and tall leather riding boots. He has a curious device strapped to his right thigh, slung low along a looped leather belt. A simple red-crystal amulet lies atop his clothing.   Slick, confident, vulgar and at times spiteful, Vanamoinen is rebellious towards authority figures, but laid-back to pretty much everyone else (bordering on flippancy). He is disaffected and disassociated with society, and quite apathetic towards this fact.   Despite this rough exterior, he’s got a large heart and won’t abide overt evil.   A painter and sculptor, Vanamoinen is concerned with form as much as function. His magic is his way of expressing his artistic soul. He isn’t one to brood, but will disappear for days on end in the pursuit of artistic expression.   Bio: Vanamoinen the Deathless is a former member of the Whispering Way. A member of Auren Vrood’s immediate coterie (tempted by the promise of power, despite his preference for mechanical and alchemical constructs to undead), he was betrayed by Vrood and left to suffer a slow agonizing death in Schloss Caromarc.   Vanamoinen is the nephew of Count Caromarc, and with the Count’s untimely death, the Schloss has become his burden to repair and maintain. He has committed his resources to the assistance of the Fellowship of the Sun in their task to assist Drago, though he has not revealed any long-term plans beyond that.
