The horde of undead tore through the country as they had been ordered to men and elves fleed from the horde, however, none would evade the shadow of death the dragonlord Zhaitan for he controlled the dead. The dark shadow turned the prosperous country into a wasteland of rot and decay, where kings lived were empty castles, the mindless undead was shambling in the fields were the peasants once worked. The dragonlord, however, had finer control over the undead than any necromancer could hope to achieve, he could keep his minions conscious throughout it all, and he relished in this, The dragon made the dead tell where their families lived and sent them to kill and devour them, more powerful men and women were kept conscious to utilize their abilities. The Bravest warriors fear the shadow of death, for it will deny you your afterlife
