Doom Spirits

Not much is known about Doom spirits. They are denizens of the Void, highly powerful and clever entities, and they are the source of Void Disease. But in terms of where they came from, why they exist, and what their role is? little is known. They are, however, considered the Antithisis of Destiny Spirits, though Doom spirits are far more prolific.

Doom Spirits often hold unnaturally vast magical power that seems somewhat apart from traditional magic. Usually this manifests as powerful darkness and necromantic magics, but according to some of them, they are capable of much more. Interestingly, their energies seem to be similar to those as Infernals, though the two are actively hostile to each other.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Doom spirits tend to not surive long in this world, at least not in their true forms. Even a single ray of sunlight would devestate them in this form. However, they often take hosts, often items or victims of Void Disease, in order to manifest. In the latter scenario, they may modify the victim to match their true self over time if left to their own devices.

Behaviour

Doom spirits are often rather talkative and clever. However, historically they have always been malevolent, and those who have worked with them have always regretted it, or at the very least caused cataclysim harm to the rest of the world.
