Athenia

Athenia is a minor world located in the Austrinus sector of Sol. It orbits Partheno, a G-Type star that lies effectively on the border between Sol and Gilgamesh.
As a colony world, Athenia was settled just before the collapse of the First Solar Republic, and spent a great deal of its early years being isolated and under developed. In the years before the Serajji Conflict, Athenia was reintegrated into the United Systems of Sol, as to prevent its occupation by the Manoran Empire. In return, they would attempt to seize the agricultural border world of Serajj, sparking the great war between the two nations. Athenia was occupied by the Manoran Empire for much of the conflict, who prevented vital supplies from reaching those who need them. The planet and it's colony were occupied until the Solar Offensive, which saw Sol push back to their pre-war borders.
Ever since the end of the Conflict, Athenia has been slowly dying. Instead of growing, the colony is shrinking, as more and more people leave in favour of somewhere more stable and safe.
