Kobold

Most kobolds still believe the dragons themselves are Gods who created their race. Nobody can say for sure but they've always been drawn to the dragons and react to them in unique ways. They were the first beings to live in dragon lairs long before they'd allow any other race in, they are more susceptible to regional effects that change their perspective and their skin changes color to match whichever dragon they're living around. Some kobolds still carry hate for how they were treated in the old world and want to force the other races out of the cities they believe belong to them by right.
