June is a friend of the Bog Bottom Boys, a student at Tort & Hair dojo, and a sex worker in the City of Antiquity. She's an absolute sweetheart and deeply enjoying picking up Monk abilities. She's been so quick on the uptake that Kai has her run lower level classes for him now - so long as it does not interfere with her real job.

The Bog Bottoms saved June's life as a quest for her friend Luneth. She had been kidnapped by a family of Lizardfolk interesting in trafficking living cargo. After she was rescued she signed up for Kai's martial arts school.
