[Druidic paths] ▪╪║╪▪
Mythology & Lore
The Worshipers of ▪╪▪ believe that all living things were once part of the ▪╪▪, and when they die they return to ▪╪▪. They believe that childbirth is so painful is because the parent's soul is literally trying to tear off a part of the ▪╪▪ to give life to their child. This strengthens and changes the ▪╪▪, who change with the people who worship them.
Divine Origins
Worship of ▪╪▪ began with the ethics of └▪▪┘╞╪╡. As the population of the tribes increased the need for specialisation became clear. Thus over the generations, the paths of the ▪╪║╪▪ developed and expanded in conjunction with the ╨╞╤.
Ethics
The world is harsh, it's hard to live in this land the only way we thrive is by choosing to be kind to one another. Kindness begets kindness, we could constantly fight brother or sister over limited resources or we could work together to make those resources go further.
Darkness isn't bad it just isn't made for us, if you need to go out in the dark bring a dog. They know the dark better than us.
The world wasn't built with us in mind but that doesn't mean we can't make a good life.
Taboos
There are actions that are forbidden for any of the worshipers of ▪╪▪ to perform. To do so will result in being labeled Taboo and cast out of the Clans or killed on sight. These acts are:- Cannibalism, either eating human flesh or feeding kin the flesh of their kind. This makes the body sick as it rejects the flesh.
- Killing trees - this makes coppicing essential in the southernmost tribes as it is too cold to be without firewood. This was the cause of the war between the tribes and the PROBES'ORUM IRSARBI and GLOE FRUIEORUM HENS PIRSA for their treatment of the natural world.
- Incest - Breeding within your parent's tribes is believed to weaken both the offspring but all the Clans.
- Killing without reason - Whilst sometimes death is inevitable killing without reason is considered both evil and stupid.

[Druids paths] ▪╪║╪▪ (Druids)
The [Druidic paths] ▪╪║╪▪ contains many paths for [druids] to follow. These philosophies don't affect who they worship, they all worship the [divine one], but the differences are in how they worship [divine one]. There is a lot of intermixing between the various paths as they all need to interact for the betterment of their community. The currently recognised paths are: [path of the community] ▪╞╪╡║╞╪╡▪ - are druids of the community. They mediate disputes, handle divorce, work to improve mental health, help chiefs with trade, help with postnatal and child care. They keep cuneiform with census data at the Settlements to prevent inbreeding and also to help predict the clans' growth so the settlements know how much food to produce and store. [path of healing] ▪╞═║╞═▪ - are concerned with life. They grow medicinal plants and work as a healer for people and animals. [path of metal] ▪═║═▪ - are druids that communicate with ▪╪▪ [divine one] via metal. They use metalworking as a form of worship and create bronze tools and silver jewellery. They also inspect mines for safety and help miners. This is a comparatively recent order as metalworking was only introduced with the GLOE FRUIEORUM HENS PIRSA (Freed Battle Thralls) need for tin to make bronze. [path of borders] ▪╒╕║╒╕▪ - are druids of borders. They are the ones who tattoo the skin, lead confirmation of self, confirmation of growth, and funeral rites. They work leather and fur as the skin is considered a border between the self and the world. They also preserve the sacred tattoos of heroes to preserve their legend, these tattoos are shown at celebrations. People from other cultures find this creepy. [path of the earth] ▪═╦║═╦▪ - are druids that work stone. They mostly stay at the Settlements and express worship through stone masonry. They also nap flint but this is becoming less necessary since smithing technology allowed people to create metal tools. In the mountain clans, they also perform funeral rites. This is due to their belief that the mountains gifted animals their bones, or living stones as they are sometimes called. When a member of these clans die their bones are returned to their ancestral Mountain. [path of time] ▪└▪▪┘║└▪▪┘▪ - are druids that follow the passing of the year. They are the ones who make sure the Ice Forest clans get to the Settlements before winter. They determine when to celebrate the summer and the winter solstice, as well as advising the best time to plant and harvest crops. They also keep the histories of their people. [path of water] ▪╚╝║╚╝▪ - are druids that specialises in work regarding water: from well digging and sanitation to fishing and field irrigation to boat making and repair. Amongst the northern river people, they are also partially responsible for the upkeep of the crannogs, giving this path more prestige than most. [path of the weaver] ▪─║─▪ - these druids typically produce textiles however while the clothing is important, especially in the southernmost clans, this is symbolic. The work teaches them that all things are connected, woven/knitted together to create the world they live in, and to truly understand it you must also understand how they work together. These druids are unofficially the keepers of the oral histories in the clans.[hearthkeepers] ╨╞╤ (Hearth Keepers)
Hearthkeepers are beloved of the ▪╪▪. They are the ones who can put a spirit to rest so that the spirit may join the ▪╪▪ through ritual and prayer. They are the butchers who cut and preserve flesh, they are the ones who tame the fire, they are the ones who sing the song of ancients. It is generally a bad idea to disrespect the ones who traditionally cook the food, even if you don't believe in their rituals.
