BurnOut

For a Lislnder, SoulBurning is the essence of life, but with it comes to a great many risks. The greatest and most common is either using too much or all of the SoulEnergy in a Lislander's BurningPool. This can be extremely dangerous and leave the Burning incapacitated or even lead to their death.
Usually, a Burner will be careful and know their limits, and when suffering under light cases of BurnOut it's possible to recover one's Ei'tarnium Massu and refill their Pools way before any long-lasting or particularly harmful effects hit the sufferer.

Symptoms

Since the Ei'Tarnium and SoulEnergy in a Lislander have become vital not just to their society, but to their existence, BurnOut can cause several nasty side effects, some of the more severe including neuropathic and deep tissue damage, but is usually more along the lines of severe fatigue and exhaustion, severe shooting pangs in affected areas, and a bodywide burning sensation that can be quite excruciating the worse the Burnout is.

Treatment

Since BurnOut is the physical manifestation and symptoms of a Lislander not having enough SoulEnergy in their BurningPool, the treatment and healing process is rather simple. Refill it.
Depending on the Lislander's Natural Affinities, this can be as simple as dipping in naturally flowing water, sitting by a campfire, or due to modern advanced in SoulBurning, there are also several widely known draughts and food types that also promote much faster Ei'tarnium regeneration.

Sequela

While mild cases of BurnOut are very common and can happen to a person multiple times throughout a day without much damage, a bad case of BurnOut can cause long and lasting effects, both mental and physical that may require large amounts of therapy to heal, or specific healing techniques to even begin to recover.

Prevention

The simplest way of preventing BurnOut is really to just not test your limits and not draw upon SoulEnerngy when your BurningPool is low, but because it's a common technique for growing your Pool, and sometimes circumstance doesn't allow that privilege, there are techniques to store SoulEnergy aside to keep one from going completely down and there are several Artifacts and ways to use Spell Casting to circumvent at least some of the worse symptoms.
