A truly impressive feat of ingenuity and engineering. The record of the first mill is incomplete, we will never know the name of the person who built it."

The millstones are spun grinding the grain into flour. The flour can be milled again to create an even finer flour but each time, some is lost.

The story goes that one day someone saw the wheel on a damaged cart spinning in the wind. After some experimentation they were able to create a small windwheel and from there, the windmill.
