-The Forger's Mandate
Do No Harm
The most important rule of the Forger's Mandate is that one should never bring harm upon another. This is interpreted to extend to harm beyond physical and to include harm by both inaction and consequence of other actions. For example, using well water to help a crop grow - a good action, should the crops be shared - can be a harmful action if the well runs dry and people run out of water to drink.
Sing Like Life Depends On It
The
Forger use songs - led by Joiners - to gather people and build communities. Singing as strong as one can is an important aspect of these songs. To give it your all as they say. The Joiners will often use the line "You should sing like life depends on it, because it does." This communal activity has proved very effective in making people work well together and get along. An outsider would even recognize that less tension and conflict can save lives. The Joiners mean it in a different way - a more abstract way - in that their singing will bring about the United Land where there will be only happiness and plenty.
Help Each Person You See
Whenever a
Forger sees someone in need - it isn't only polite to help them - it is a fulfilment of their faith, as they believe that every problem solved brings them one step closer to created the United Land. Sometimes they will go to great lengths to help travelers, the poor, and the sick - lengths greater than anyone could ask for.
