Mancatcher Item in Linebound | World Anvil

Mancatcher

Non-lethal polearm.

It had been a long cycle and Chahida had been running for most of it. But she finally caught up with him. With one thrust of her mancatcher she had Tadow by the neck. He squirmed a bit against the wall. Chahida hoped that backup would arrive soon. She turned to look for the other officers that fell behind but turned to look when she felt the mancatcher shift a little. Tadow was gone.

Game Statistics

Special: On a successful attack, t or aaa can be spent to catch the neck or thigh of the target with the mancatcher. When wielding a mancatcher in this way, it loses the defensive property and can't be used to attack but the target cannot move closer to you than the length of the mancatcher. They can spend a maneuver to attempt a Hard (ddd) Acrobatics check to escape. Increase the difficulty of this check once for each additional mancatcher that has caught the target. This ability only functions against creatures of silhouette 1.
