The rush of the wind, the thunder of the cannons, the heat of the flame. Linebound is based on the idea of sailing ships that travel the skies and inspired by swashbuckling action. However, action comes in other places as well such as the tension of a dangerous climb or negotiation, the planning of extraordinary tactics, and the flight from a dangerous sandstorm.

Adventure

Whether walking a footpath, riding a horse down a road, or navigating a skyship Linebound is about exploration. The exploration of the world is the grandest and easiest to imagine. An exploration of ideas and of relationships are also different kinds of adventures.

Change and agency are key to Linebound. Players must be able to create change in the world, to improve lives or worsen them, to create art or destroy it. These are elements that should be within or refuted by every culture.
