I was expecting something small, the size of a cattle horn perhaps, I should have thought something was off when they sent multiple large lizardfolk to retrieve it. I hope we do not encounter the immense creature from which the horn was takes.Ryze Chavosi, Journal No. 1

Each family line in clans
Rakrantra and
Esina has an ancestral horn. These artifacts are intricately detailed horns made of wood or bone and are one of the few items adorned with the scarce metals of
Kestatol.
These treasures relics are used only in special circumstances, to celebrate hatching, mourn loss, and perform ceremonies at which it is the privilege of the family head to play the horn first. There are much smaller versions of these horns used to train clan members and prepare them to play their ancestral horn.
The large horns can be heard over great distances which often signals clan members performing distant duties that an event is beginning.

A Grave Loss
During the
Four Generations War, one of the ancestral horns of
Clan Rakrantra was destroyed. This was an injustice on a level not seen for a very long time.
The retribution was swift and harsh, many members of
Clan Trakaata were killed and their bodies tied to trees as a warning to any who would defile their history.
