History of Draemund Kar

In the year 120 ABE, the goverment of the Central Islands decided to colonize the uncharted western part of Hopeful Island. There were no active cities in the region since before The Patricide War. However, the region is filled with important minerals such as iron and gold. Therefore, a few years after Amled's War ended, the goverment decided to send people to live there and start gathering minerals to export to the rest of the kingdom, supplying its reconstruction.
