The Lame Duck - Fancy Inn/Tavern

History

The Lame Duck Inn has that name because the owner, Amanda Drakarys - Fine Innkeeper, adopted a goose chick when she was first opening the establishment. Therefore, she named the place "The Lame Duck Inn" for she named the goose "Lame" which actually means beauty in dwarvish. She did not know that it was a goose, and not a duck. Plus, she never made the relation of "lame" meaning boring. Nowadays, it is a joke that she laughs with customers with.
