The Banishment War

Three million years after the creation of the Dragons and Dragonborns by Drak, the Mother of Dragons, Amled, the Firstborn found out about Durantia's and Ravinus' final step to wage war against him: showing the Dragonborns of Lindrinor how to wield magic and light to fight against the Undying. So he decided to accept the challenge and started a war against the King, Queen and their children.   At the start of the Banishment War, the Sapient Species were still unprepared and lost. Ravinus’ did not have the time to bestow his power upon enough paladins and clerics to wield the light, just like Durantia did not have time to teach druids and wizards about the wonders of magic and life. So, after the Grunnuvak , known by the Elves as “The First Battle of History”, the Hopeful Siblings devised a plan to deceive the Firstborn in order to get more time to teach the most brave and intelligent amongst the Dragonborns.   When the war finally began and open battles were erupting, the Void Monsters started fighting against the United Empires' Army all across the globe. Millions of kobolds, half-lizards and of course, dragonborns died by the hands of Amled’s viciously cruel servants. But, because of the plan made by Durantia and Ravinus they stood a chance. Right after Grunnuvak happened, Oxabal, a then Arch-Angel created by Ravinus, infiltrated Amled’s ranks posing himself as one of his Generals. He managed to pass false information to the Undying: the main headquarters of the United Empires’ Army was in Ralbun Island, a place where gigantic creatures called Draknaths roamed the lands. But of course, it was a ruse, one in which Amled had easily fallen. The purpose was to stall the Firstborn’s forces to get more time to train the dragonborns. That region sheltered one of the draconic empires, the Nathdon Empire. After that, Amled and his forces spent eleven years trying to conquer the island. When Amled, along with Rashmar, the Hungry and Beshal, the Traitor finally took over the Nathdon’s forgotten capital at Ramad's Vulkan, it was too late for them. The United Empires’ Army had gotten plenty of time to raise many clerics, paladins, wizards and druids to fight the Undying.
