Beshal, the Traitor

Beshal was a dragonborn general of the Nathdon Empire that fought in the The Banishment War. He fought alongside Emperor Olembra and his other generals for ten long years to stall Amled's forces in the beginning of the war. But, the Traitor was greedy and wanted power above all. When Amled found out of the ruse made by the Hopeful Siblings Durantia and Ravinus, he decided to leave Ralbun Island and start his war agaisnt the living across all of Lindrinor.   However, before he did that, he wanted to try one last resort to dominate the island: he was going to try to influentiate the weakest and greddiest of Nathdom's generals, Beshal. He came to the Traitor in a dream, in which the Firstborn offered to him endless treasuries and power should he decide to join forces with the Firstborn and betray Emperor Olembra. And that's what he did. One day before the battle for Ralbun Island finally came to an end, Beshal met Amled in The Grand Desert. There, they shook hands sealing a pact of the dragonborn's eternal servitude to the malignant Ancient . After that, the Traitor told Amled of the Emperor's plan to attack the Undying's fleet as they were leaving Ralbun's shore. That battle, on the next day, was named as "The Battle of Sorrows" and it is remembered to this day as one of the most important fights in history.   But, even after losing almost all of the soldiers and dragons under his command, Emperor Olembra emerged victorious while Amled fled to lick his wounds and start plotting against the other empires. Beshal followed his master and fought alongside him till he was eventually defeated and banished. The Traitor survived The Last Battle and managed to go back to Ralbun. There, he made his base at the Grand Desert, the place where his life changed. After that, he waited patiently on his pyramid for Amled's return. In the thousand years process, his skin decayed over time so he covered himself up with some magical necrotic bandages, turning himself, at last, into a Lord of Mummies.    When his patron finally returned, Beshal once again served him under the leadership of Oxabal, the Fallen. His goal was the same as the generals of the Fallen: give support to Amled's Cultists while they captured as many Draknathsas possible, in order to transform them into Amled's undead servants.
