- One must be very proficient in Animaromancy (one of the hardest schools of magic to learn) in order to become a magical tinkerer
- A certification of Magical Tinkerer must be provided by a certified Academy of Wizardry (such as Ceadarholm Academy of Wizardry or Miláfila School of Wizardry)

- Magical Tinkerers are usually hired to transform mundane objects (such as knives, chests, tables and rugs) into protective Mimics
- Furthermore, There are few Magical Tinkerers (such as the ones of the Bark Enclave) that are capable of animating and giving life to magical creatures (such as Automatons, golems and Warforgeds)
- However, this profession is losing a lot of its prestige and importance as Progammed Mechanichals Bots are becoming more and more common in Lindrinor

Magical Tinkerers are found in abundance amongst the Snow Dwarves of Hakyama. However, many Humans of Angra learned and took on this practice during the years of contact with the dwarves of the Dwarven Mountain.
