Lavanrac

Lavanrac is the day that all races of Gielinor come together to celebrate the biggest of Durantia's blessings: the gift of life. It's a day for party and celebration, and people tend to drink alchohol and use all sort of drugs in the name of The Queen of Life. It is also a day in which men's and women's fertilety are strangely and magically higher.

In this day, people of all over the planet gather arround Garianthus, the biggest Mother Tree in the world. It is located in the tropical jungles of Rivenfell and a temple of Durantia is situated at the base of the tree.

This holiday has been invented by Janus, the Gentle, in the year -5234. It is the day that Tumebehtel and the United Elvish and Dwarven Realms defeated the demonic forces of Nialarto's in Atlantis. Janus were the then leader of the Evlish Arcana Scholars and decided to asked Aranus, the king of Rivenll at the time, to instaurate the Lavanrac Event at March the 13th.

In the Lavanrac event of -1589 the First Human Castle in Gielinor was attacked by a group of radical elvish racists. The day was marked as "The Bloody Party" and even though humans live way less than elves, the race as a whole did not forget the event and this subject is frequently brought up during heated human-elves discussions. In the year 79 a small group of Amled's cultitsts infiltrated the parade that happens yearly in Garianthus during Lavanrac. They stole a piece of Golden Root from Garianthus and used it to summon the Arch-Demon Leria, one of Amled's most powerful allies. This act was one of Amled's final preparations for his holy war.
