Captain Zarpen Yigrim
Zarpen Yigrim is a exhiled Sand Dwarf from the realm Dul-Amarath. He's been living in Hakyama for a little more than a hundred years and has obtained the post of Captain of its Military. Since 69 ABE he has been leading the soldiers and mercenaries at fort Berad-Zur against the inifinite hordes of Snow Green Goblin that have been waging war against Hakyama for three centuries.

Personal history
Zarpen Yigrim was born in Erebor in the notorious scientist clan Miriantos. Diferently from his siblings and cousings, during his childhood Zarpen prefered fighting and playing thant studying and getting educated. When he was a young adult, he went agaisnt his parents will and joined the infamous druidic circle called Zugspite Cabal.
There he learned the ways of the forest and how to properly protect it. He stayed in the organization as a ranger (he did not learn the ways of druidism) of Du Walden-Walden for arround 20 years and helped many people and creatures in the process. When he hit 38 years old, he decided to join the military, the place in which he could use his abilities to improve the country. He quickly rose in the ranks becoming no less than commander of his own squad in just 4 years.
A certain day, Zarpen and his crew were investigating a murder and, during it, Zarpen eventually got framed for the murder and was sentenced to exhile. After that, he was uterly confused and lost. He decided to travel to Hakyama, the country of the stuborn and dumber cousins of the Sand Dwarves, the Snow Dwarves. He journeyed through all the realms (with exception of Heim and Orthanc) to get there.
Once he arrived, he began to see that in fact the Snow Dwarves were quite diferent from what he tought (and what he was taught). Sure, they were stuborn as a brick and had a few screws lose, but they were also loyal and caring. Love and family is the most important thing for these dwarves, quite diferent then his own kind. Some years passed and he decided, once again, to join the army. "Things will be better this time", he tought.
And indeed it was. Although it was a bit difficult in the beggining for his different ascendancy, but once again he quickly climbed up the military ranks and earned the respect of his fellow soldiers. Decades had passed and, in 69 ABE, he eventually became Captain and started leading fort Berad-Zur, the place where he spent the last of his years, fighting Snow Green Goblin and Void Monsters.

Hobbies & Pets
A couple of wild boars named Lady and Lord follow Zarpen wherever he goes. They've been doing that since the captain saved them from being cooked and eaten by a couple of nasty goblins.
