Goblin
The smallest of Cursedkin goblinoids, referred to simply as goblins, were once Gnomes that have been effected by the Blood Curse, and found themselves losing their aptitude for intelligence. While some goblins seem to have retained slivers of their prior racial tendencies the years of deviation has led to be brash in some manner.
Naming Traditions
Feminine names
Female goblins are often named after a female of another race that their parents thought was pretty, but often the goblins cannot remember exactly pronunciation of the name. The most common name for female goblins is Ezmelda (Dwarf name Esmerelda), but others are Cat-Lin (Human name Katlyn), Applerill (Tabaxi name April), Tali'a (Elf name Thalia), Etc.
Masculine names
Masculine goblin names tend to resemble a short one syllable sound rather then a coherent name. Common names are ones like: Tuk, Taz, Leb, Oob, Pit, Nuk, etc.
Family names
Goblins have clan names similar to Beastkin these names often reflect a bastardization of where the clan has set up their encampment. If the clan has taken residence in the sewers or outskirts of a town they will often adopt and corrupt an adjective that they hear the local townsfolk call them as their clan name. Examples Goblin clan names are: Siverpeks (Silver Peaks), Bravves (Brave), Smellies (Smelly), Bloolick (Blue Lake), Etc.
Culture
Shared customary codes and values
Power to the Strong. Goblin law is simple, but crude in the clans. The strongest among the goblins is the leader, and every other goblin must follow the orders of the leader or leave the clan. Goblins will often challenge others perceived as stronger for dominance and if victorious will establish a hierarchy among their clan. Often losers of this challenging are humiliated in front of the clan for trying, but are treated the same as always among the hierarchy.
Wekken. The Wekken is the goblin at the bottom of the hierarchy. This goblin is often the weakest among the goblins at the current time that they are Wekken, and this leads to them getting given the most work in the clan. Other goblins will pass down their tasks that they can to the Wekken, but this has a balancing effect as the Wekken will grow stronger due to the extra manual labor it endures. Eventually this leads to the Wekken climbing the hierarchy, and a goblin often doesn't stay Wekken for long.
Fiercely Loyal. While goblins argue among themselves and fight for dominance they have one rallying cry, that of the pain of someone they care about. If another goblin in the tribe becomes sick or grows old, and admits to being Bad, every goblin in the clan will bend over backwards to help their clan mate. The loyalty of a goblin is only rivaled to the subservience of Kobolds, and someone who has earned the trust and admiration of a goblin will find that goblin following them to the ends of the plane. Likewise a goblin wronged by someone has caused entire tribes to go to war, even if they know that they won't win, out of a desire for retribution.
Average technological level
The technology of the goblin clan in question is reliant on how long the clan as been in any one place. If a tribe moves they will tend to lose a lot of progress in their advancement. Regardless of the clan's technological state their technology will artistically crude.
Common Etiquette rules
The most important etiquette in goblin culture is respect. This does not have many real world implications when other races deal with goblins, but when talking to the leader of the clan it is important to understand that they value themselves as the leader of the clan and the equivalent to a mayor, king, or other leader. These clan leaders will only allow other equals to talk to them as though they are equals. Most goblins may even feel slighted if they believe they are being talked down to.
Common Customs, traditions and rituals
Often goblins, decent civility, will find themselves constantly writing down information and keeping notes, even if they are crude, as they tend to forget things easily.
Common Myths and Legends
Hobgoblins. There is an understanding among Goblins that exists on a instinctual level that if a Hobgoblin is born to the clan they will need to take the child to the fabled Hobgoblin city in the unclaimed territories.
