Heavenly Gardens (d: ˈtakwot ˈɾuptaŋ)

A finely manicured garden showcasing several trees and shrubs indigenous to Daenang, specifically those that thrive in the climate found in Castinid.

Purpose / Function


The gardens are a testament to the friendship between Daenang and Einelund, with several plants native to Daenang cultivated for display to the people of Einelund.

Architecture


The garden has been landscaped to create a sense of wandering in nature despite its placement within one of the most technologically forward cities in the world. The designers made excellent us of rocks, water fixtures, and exacting placement of trees and shrubs to craft an experience for all visitors. Winding paths of cobbled stone, bridges over burbling streams, and statues celebrating Xhan and Daewohl culture are designed to be contemplative spaces, emphasizing a sense of harmony and balance. There are more than a few waterfalls, the largest being nearest to the main building, with a pool of brightly colored fish.

Defenses


The gardens are protected by high fences with several gates that allow entry during those period when the garden is open to the public. There are no guards to patrol the grounds themselves.

History


The gardens were established as part of the agreement between Heavenly Sequence and the Castinid City Council that granted the Daewohl company land usage and building permits in the Silveryard. The area served as staging for materials to build the Heavenly Sequence and Castinid Partnership Testing Center and then converted to an exquisite garden after the main facility was completed.

Tourism


Many tourists in Castinid are eager to visit the gardens whenever they are open to the public. The gardens are generally opened in mid spring and throughout the summer until after the leaves fall in autumn. It is estimated that thousands of visitors walk the gardens each month. There is no charge, but donations are accepted.
