Born in the bordello Amorous Angel, in Lesbos, to an active mother and unknown father, Daphne appeared to have most things stacked against her.
While having a deep respect for her mothers work, she longed to do something else. She found it in the Lesbos navy, where she could find like-minded individuals.
By 1583, she became the Navarch of Lesbos, and has dutifully served upon her ship, the Lasvia, for sometime before then.
