Asranos, Deity of the Sky, Stars and Ruler of the Gods

Head of the Hellanic Pantheon and one of the five Children of Seiropia, Asranos was presumed to be the greatest of their brethren based on their possession of the Heart and Passion of Seiropia. Their dominion is that of the Sky and Stars, and they guide their worshippers to protect and preserve life around them, just as they do for the heavens. Just as they preserve all, their worshippers are taught to preserve that which brings life while spurning stagnation. Great artists, craftsmen or artificers will give their blessings to Asranos, invoking them to guide them as they create, while leaders will pray to Asranos for guidance, or curse they’re name if they are foolish enough.


Asranos is often depicted as a genderless Wood Elf, draped in a sky-blue coat or a Sapphire Dragon.

Holidays

While Asranos has no single holy day, their worship is however venerated most when the two moons of Teraima are at their fullest. On that day, rulers sacrifice items of wealth to Asranos, half of which are consumed by holy fire, the rest going to the local Temple. Some rulers have been known to undergo a personal act of charity on such occasions, giving their subordinates gifts, either the form of a particularly hearty and extravagant meal or in the form of coin. Rulers who are stingy on such a day are doomed to failure.
