Originally working in the Defense Corps as a pilot, Basht saw an opportunity towards the end of his enlistment to make money in a much more exciting way.
After the unfortunet destruction of his first ship in a Pallidium explosion, Basht teamed with Keaya as a way to get back on his feet. Fourteen years later, he still regularly works with her aboard the Voiceless Wind.
