The Laws of Life After Moonrise
For the most part, LAMR is the regular world. There are super naturals who have generally kept quiet to avoid detection. There are gods and deities, but they've been dormant for hundreds of years. Magic is real, incredibly advanced technology is real. There is a fair bit of leeway given to heroes and villains, a reality-distortion of sorts, to prevent them from getting arrested too easily (and ruining the story).
Cosmology
The biggest development in the world is enhanced humans, humans with powers. This was always going to happen, mutations in human DNA created a few people with powers over the years. There's been a steady increase. As 1-2% of the population gained powers, and as those powers became stronger, it became pretty much impossible to ignore. Events in play have drastically accelerated the emergences of enhanced humans. Society is changing such that even the super naturals are being pulled into the light.
Principal Geography & Features
There's little difference from the real world. The core play is southeast PA based. The heart of it is a Philadelphia that's stolen some traits from NYC, like Central Park. There's fictional locations, more wood coverage in the rural areas to accomodate the werewolves, and so on.
Initial Active Setting
The core story takes place in Pennsylvania and the surrounding states. The events however, will have far-reaching, global consequences.
