The Keepers
A group/species dedicated to archiving the world around them. They possess extensive knowledge of the world and many deep secrets. Their kind are experts at stealth and the collection/preservation of knowledge.
There are at least 3 kinds of keepers:
The Elves Dark grey skinned creatures with large eyes. Their bodies are small and slim. They are exceptionally nimble and well versed in magic. Some believe they are the world's greatest archive of magical knowledge. Their greatest skills are in theft and illusion.
The Ravens Essentially avian shifters. They are able to shift between an almost human form and a raven. They have paler dark skin, but not so dark as the regular elves. Their ears are pointed (but this cannot normally be seen, they have illusion charms). Their avian forms are identical to regular ravens.
The Hulks The biggest and rarest of the keepers. These are gentle giants. They stand about 8' tall with broad shoulders. Their hands and arms are far larger than most humanoids. They have lesser intelligence, but excel at engineering/building things. Their main purpose is the maintenance of their tunnel network. On first look, one might think they would be tactical, but they dread the notion of fighting.
