Mikkala lived most of her young life like other Ravens- Learning, training to find some sort of job in the Keeper society. But throughout her childhood, she just couldn’t stand knowing how much of her life would be schooling. She did well though- learning the things she was taught with ease, performing greatly. But the thought that she’d be doing it for so much longer- until she was 30 years old- was too much for her. 30 years.. To her, that was way too much. Just barely below half of her life. (Sometimes, she wished she was born a dark elf- until she remembers just what they do. Having such a long life sounds miserable to her if all it’s used for is becoming a living textbook for someone or something obscure, even with some magic mixed in. At least, that’s her perception of them. But still- That long lifespan is something she admires. As a child, she had fantasies about magically switching species- and she’d have asked if there’s any spell for it, if she hadn’t realized how absurd it might sound.)
But anyways- After many [wasted, in her eyes-] years of schooling, she finally tried to get out. (She’d tried once before actually at 19, but failed terribly. Likely caught skipping school.) At 25 years old though, she managed to leave the labyrinth
And because of that- she isn’t the most well-versed raevn. Nor was- or still sometimes is to this day, as emotionally stable as adult ravens. She’s almost there- but she still lets her anger, pride, and fear get the best of her often.
She doesn’t have the same knowledge and skill people who finished learning do- but she’s fine with that. She bought herself 5 early years of freedom- albeit in a very different world than the place she’d left. And that, was worth it.
All of this completely subject to change and revision- I can absolutely tell this better, just gotta brainstorm first.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
A bit athletic- as far as Ravens go. While she isn't part of the most athletic species (in the elf form), she's pretty decent for their kind.
In her bird form, she's pretty well excercised. Well-weathered wings and regularly groomed feathers leave her pretty fast when she flies.
Well groomed, as mentioned- Usually clean; brushed hair, clear skin, and even a bit of red lipstick.
Apparel & Accessories
A fancy little ring, with a gryphon engraved onto it.
A small stud ear peircing- (she was scared at first to get it, at first- scared of what'd happen when she shifts forms with it. But she got it from a Raven who knew what they were doing, and it moves to a part of her wing when she changes.)
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
Some of her biggest motivation is just making the best of her time. Living her life to it's fullest- Trying new things out, meeting new people, and not getting caught if she's ever in trouble.
She doesn't like wasting time too often, but when she needs it, she'll let herself take a break. She hates to admit it, but sometimes just relaxing- especially with someone she likes- is nice. Though, just as much, she likes spending time doing exciting stuff with others.
Of course- sometimes this stuff will be her detriment. If she's sitting around too long, she'll want to, well, do something. And so, she's not the best to keep around when you've gotta hide for a while.
