Arknaeda
An advanced alien species, they predate the birth of mankind by millions of years. They are a spacefaring civilization with abilities far beyond humanity. Their technology seems almost limitless. They've been able to traverse the stars, build ships the size of cities, create an army of machines, and shown damn near immunity to human technology. The world may as well be ants.
Except for one area: the super naturals. Wendigo, Wolves, and Enhanced Humans have shown to be more effective at fighting them. Their technology is able to counter bullets, but it seems the shear variety of abilities seen in the world, is sufficient to at least stall their takeover.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Their true form is believed to be an almost spider-like centaur. They have ten limbs, with six on their thorax. They're able to move with incredible speed and agility. They all have cybernetic implants, which seem to regulate or enhance bodily function. They're as much creature as cyborg at this point. The full extent of this is not yet known. There is some belief that their cybernetics compensate for what would otherwise be a weaker bodily form, but that remains just speculation.
On those rare dead that have been found and studied, they are seen to have six eyes, located in clusters of three. There is no evidence of any ears on them, in the traditional sense. There is some belief that their skin is able to detect the vibrations in the air, though not for communication. They just track and sense movement this way.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Early indications are that their machinery is able to devour raw, biological matter and absorb it through their machines. The process is more like a fly liquifing its food than anything else. Their nanites destroy whatever they touch and then deliver the nutritional material direction into their bodies. This makes them extra terrifying. They can eat literally anything. It's possible that they can devour raw minerals as well.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities
The Arknaeda have a mixed bag of sensory abilities. Their eyes appear to be exceptionally sensitive, but perhaps too sensitive. They wear masks in combat with dark screens inside, suggesting they do not handle bright light well. They have an exceptional hearing ability, but it seems more detailed to detecting the precise location of sound than to communication. Their cybernetic implants seem to give them control over their machinery and provide an artificial telepathy.
