Navid is openly a upper-mid tier merchant, but in reality is a major player in the underworld of Dragontrap, somehow remaining independent from any faction, at a minimum not on bad terms or even on good terms with them all. He is older and has gone to fat, he is affable, but still very shrewd and is viewed as a reasonably trustworthy individual, both by others in his field and by Captain Trem Phoenixwinds specifically. She has not elaborated much on their relationship beyond that she had worked for him around 2 decades ago when she still lived in the Sennid Kingdom.
