Kitsune

Believed to originally be from the feywild, Kitsune live scattered throughout the world in small tribal communities in magical forests. While not inherantly bad creatures, these foxlike humanoids' mischievous and cunning natures have often caused them to be regarded with distrust by others.   Ability Score Increase. When determining your character’s ability scores, you increase one of those scores by 2 and increase a different score by 1, or you increase three different scores by 1. Follow this rule regardless of the method you use to determine the scores, such as rolling or point buy.    The “Quick Build” section for your character’s class offers suggestions on which scores to increase. You’re free to follow those suggestions or to ignore them. Whichever scores you decide to increase, none of the scores can be raised above 20.   Age. Kitsune have lifespans equivalent to half elves.   Alignment. Kitsune tend towards chaotic alignments, letting impulse and their mischievous nature guide their decisions.    Size. Kitsune are on average the same size as humans. Your size is Medium.   Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.   Darkvision. You have a fox's keen senses, especially in the dark. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.   Fey Ancestry. You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed.   Sly. You have proficiency in the Deception and Stealth skills.   Playful Trickster. You know either the dancing lights or minor illusion cantrip. Use your highest spell save DC for this cantrip. If you do not have a spell save DC, then use Charisma to determine it.   Language. You can speak, read, and write Sylvan and Common. Sylvan is a fluid language rife with double entendres and intricate grammar.
