Owners and proprietors of The Cosy Laguar, Lily and Sam Ward love to bring joy to their neighbors and the members of The Silence that come through their establishment.
Lily Ward
Warm and nurturing, Lily is known for taking care of the local Kedin community, always ready with a meal and a place to rest. She is a natural organizer, often bringing people together to help those in need. Her willingness to invite members of The Silence in has made her a favorite among the troops and she will often make and send care packages off with anyone about to ship out.
Sam Ward
Sam is a man of few words, preferring action over conversation. His first love is food and Sam will spend countless hours in the kitchen perfecting a new recipe. However, he got his start as a very skilled hunter and tracker. He knows the marshes better than anyone and can track almost any creature through the dense jungles of Cumia.
Milly Ward
Milly is Sam and Lily's daughter. A chaotic Kedin girl with seemingly boundless energy. Her Laguar, Yeni, goes everywhere with her, including the tavern floor. It is Milly's laguar that earned the tavern it's name.
Family Dynamics
The travelling members of The Silence are sometimes shocked at how excitable and mischevous Milly can be, especially seeing her parents in their warm, but serious composure. Neither Sam nor Lily will ever admit it, but the Kedin from these parts know it to be true: Milly comes by her chaos honestly. Her parents were both quite the rabblerousers before becoming parents and business owners. Sam and Milly garden together, he is teaching her how to grow herbs and what each is best used for in cooking. Lily and Milly play games of "hide n seek", and "cat and mouse" whenever the tavern is slow.
Sam and Lily have a quiet and soft love, they don't often show physical affection in public, but those who pay attention will catch longing glances and knowing smiles sent across the room at one another.
