Creation of the Groline:

According to Groline belief, Kuvris was born alongside Scion 9, an eternal entity tied to the planet’s oceans. For eons, he existed alone in the deep waters, watching the seas shift and change. Eventually, he grew lonely and, using his immense magical power, created the vast ecosystems of Scion 9, from the smallest fish to the towering sea creatures that inhabit its waters. His final creation was the Groline themselves, beings made from the very waters of Scion 9, designed to live in harmony with the ocean and each other.

The Groline as His Children:

Kuvris did not create the Groline to serve him, but rather to share in the life of the seas. The Groline consider themselves his children, living embodiments of the ocean. They do not worship him as a god, but they honor him as their father and protector. The Groline’s connection to the ocean is both spiritual and physical, as they believe that when they die, their waters return to Kuvris, completing the cycle of life.

Eternal Presence:

Kuvris is not bound by time or space; he is eternal, as old as the planet itself. While he may not always manifest, the Groline believe he is always present in the seas, watching, listening, and protecting the waters of Scion 9. His power is tied to the ocean currents, and many Groline rituals involve calling on his essence for guidance or aid.

The Loneliness of Kuvris:

In one of the most well-known stories, Kuvris is said to have existed in solitude for eons before creating the life forms that would fill the oceans. His loneliness drove him to shape the seas with coral reefs, fish, and finally the Groline, so that he would never be alone again.

The Storm of the Usurper:

A legendary tale among the Groline tells of a time when non-Groline tried to claim part of the ocean for themselves, using large machines to drill into the depths. Kuvris, angered by this violation, is said to have summoned a colossal storm that swallowed the invaders and their machines whole, dragging them to the ocean floor, never to be seen again.

Cosmological Views

Looshi believe Kuvris was manifested into existence at the same time as Scion 9, He lived alone in the vast blue for many galaxy's lifetimes. Once he had grown lonely, he used his vast magic of creation to fill the seas with fish and plants, then the Groline People to share it and shepard His creation.
