Losenxagabet'on (Loh-zehn-/ks/ah-gah-beh-T'OHN)

The Losenxagabet'on is the elected head of Losenxagabe, the ruling government of Lexicon.

Requirements

To be considerd to be or to be elected Losenxagabet'on, one must be a Lexiconian, a female, and also be one of the 10 Vharat'ono that sit upon Losenxagabe.

Appointment

Losenxagabet'on is part of the 10 members of Losenxagabe, and is elected and chosen by merit for life, unless they have been stripped of the position, though a secret election by the members of the Losenxagabe, in which they cannot vote for themselves.

Responsibilities

Some of Losenxagabet'on's official roles other than being head of government and state are to moderate debate, make rulings on procedure, announce the results of votes, and the like. They decide who may speak and has the powers to discipline members who break the procedures of Losenxagabe. Losenxagabet'on also represents Losenxagabe in person, as the voice of it.

Accoutrements & Equipment

Losenxagabet'on is legally entitled to wear and use a slightly altered and different version of the Losenxagabe emblem, indicating their rank and status and position as leader. Only they themselves are allowed and authorized to use and wear it. Only one Losenxagabet'on has been created and exists, as there can only be one Losenxagabet'on. When Losenxagabet'on is removed from their position for whatever reason, they must give up the emblem.

Cultural Significance

Many Vharaco and their Vharat'ono scheme for the position as even though having a seat on the Council is extremely prestigious, the position of is the most coveted of all because being elected as Losenxagabet'on is basically made the head of state and government of Lexicon. In Lehkcia, Losenxagabet'on literally translates as 'holder of the Council' or 'possessing the Council', which is quite fitting as control of Losenxagabe means control of the entire planet.
