Vertus Clocktower

Grown around a large packed stone structure from before the sundering of the realms, the Vertus clocktower is a marvel of reclaimed architecture.

With 4 platforms around a series of partially filled gourds, the tower itself is a resonance chamber, with each hour a dull thrum sent out to mark each of the 30 segments of the day.

It has a massive Morticia-blossom growing from the side of it, designed to track the path of the primary sun across the sky (and best used for the daytime hours as it points to markings across the face of the tower.

The path of the blossom activates mechanisms, the moving parts fashioned to cause a spinning drum to lower, each hour bringing it against the side of the gourds, each hour deeper in tone before it returns to the top at the start of the dawn.

Continueing the Vertus tradition, the stonework of the tower base is painted in a depiction of a long lost goddess  - her name lost to time, though she is definitely foliad with vines for hair and a thick flowing body.
