Starfall River

Journey to the heart

The starfall river runs from the lake far south of Vertus into the sea south of Oceanus. Running past several towns including Vertus, the Starfall river is the major distributary of water in southern Levis, and the focal point of towns in the area. Reeds and grasses line its banks as well as the large and greedy weeping eucalyptus, giving the youth place to climb and hide in the warmer summer days.

The Spirit of the Starfall river is Revy, a mass of swirling colors and light that can be caught flickering across the surface of the water at times one would not expect colours to dance as they do. Revy has been responsible for many a saved boat as the occupants become distracted, light flicking across their eyes. Revy has helped the odd fisherperson or someone who has dropped something into the depths of the river with a sparkle of colour to help them see better. Revy has also helped those lost nearby in the forest, guiding them towards the river's edge and an easy path home.
Shrines to Revy are a collections of feathers and coloured items, held down by a strong (often black) river stone.
