Scaleskin

Like Ecsma scaleskin is a skin condition that affects the people of Levis. Scaleskin usually forms in small patches, usually under the ribs and over the backs of the shoulders, though can appear anywhere on the body.

It occurs naturally in Foliad and Nocturne society, with causes ranging from stress, hormonal changes, changes in skin treatment, or consuming something that has come into contact with a Fey Comet .

It is not contagious, and displays itself as the name suggests as patches of tiny scales, like a fish with blue-ing of the skin and scales. Unlike ecsma, scaleskin is not itchy, though it is definitely irritated skin.

Moisturisation helps the condition, but usually a change in the cause needs to happen before it clears.

Existance of the condition has led to colloquialisation of the statement "You look so scaleskin" to mean someone who looks tired and haggardly, though.
