On Tea

The document discussed is a 26 chapter treatese on how to brew, serve and worship tea.  Several sections revolve on the types of tea leaves produced, and the serveral other types of things that can be boiled in water to serve the same type of product.

Purpose

The binding (holographic document bound in hardened woven leaves) is designed as a takedown of a rival from Natare.

Historical Details

Background

Bledemere Ivy-bourne of Vertus was a penpal and rival to the academy mage Heresh Blackbough (great grandfather to Verdan Blackbough). The release of the document marked the end of corrispondence, though records state that Heresh and Bledemere met at least one last time in person.

Legacy

The document itself has been used as a cornerstone of Levis culture, with debates formed around the accuracy of the document, and experiments created to try and debate the best tastes versus what is recorded in the text.

On Tea

Excerpt taken from chapter 14.
It must be stated Heresh that your knowledge on the correct way to set up your tea consuming station is significantly lacking.
Firstly, tea must always be consumed facing a third-step rotation away from the brightest sun in the sky, so that you get full illumination and relaxation but are not staring directly and thus getting strain upon one's eyes.
Secondly, there must be a side table. To use a full table to consume tea is unweildy, to construct tea in the kitchen and just consume the tea without a pot is uncivilised.
Thirdly, the option for sweetner must always be available - rarely used and honey is the best option - but always available. (I will continue this in section 5 of the 16th chapter).
Forth, any form of dulling medium (nut paste, plant cream, etc) is forbidden from any true consumer's repetoire. Tea must be consumed as true to taste as possible.
Next, a true consumer of tea, no matter the gender, must wear the proper outfit. This is of course an ankle length dress in dark colours, and a wide brim hat. I will not take questions on this assertation, unlike your Primus graduation Heresh. That was way too many questions to allow to be asked Heresh.
