Kraken
Then we're bringing up the fact that most life on Levis is brightly colored or bioluminescant - including the kraken.
That it is octopus based rather than squid. And that its only the second largest carnivorous predator in the water, and that smaller versions of it are prey for massive pterasaur styled amphibious albatross things
That the kraken are very eel like in their hiding and dens, and that when frightened they release enough ink to turn whole areas of the sea black.
That they are intelligent enough to steal the crab pots off the backs of boats and leave them well enough alone.
Thank you for reading, feel free to give feedback.
So what is the largest predator in the water?
The giant carnivorous sea anenome of course.
