The conflict of arcane interest.

This conflict is between the City of Fyrus and the city of Batona. It is a conflict that is based on the effects of arcane magic upon mankind and if they should persue such dangerous paths. Batona is stubbern in their ways not a hint of giving in. Batona is completely against the use of arcane magic in any sense of the matter. Fyrus on the other hand thinks that the reason that they had been able to survive is because of the combination of the divine and the arcane magic that is used by mankind and especially some members of the Patrons of Valor. These two sides argued politically with each other for years about what side was right. Though at the time neither side was ready nor wanted war with the state of everything. However that wasn't forever. After about 118 years of the loud yelling later the two cities couldn't handle it anymore and both ralied up their troops. The troops from Batona was much larger as it was easier to train soldiers in larger scale compared to the more personal touch that is usually required for magic users. Though Fyrus definitely has it's warriors though they are usually a combination of magic and martial prowess. These are called the Drindar warriors. The battle was a fierce war that through the tactics of Batona and the magical force of Fyrus it was an even battle with a standstill around the nigel rivers. This is where most of the battle took around it. Usually one side of the won a battle and a couple of days to two weeks after that would be retaken. It went like that for a few months after that they realised that the war was a waist of resources for both sides. in the year 119 the sign of peace was signed and it was agreed upon that they would never upon do trade or interact to perserve the lives of their people. As the agreement to disagree was taken they afterward never had any contact again on a political level. Fyrus however after this war severly forcified their city with an arcane barrier to protect against a possible surprise attack. Thought Fyrus is powerful when they are prepared catch them off guard and they are almost sitting ducks.
