Rathal Viralan
Rathal Viralan is a famed elven inventor, and resident of Brimbaria. His inventions are known far and wide among the people of Eternity. Fron a young age, he wanted to know everything about Eternity, and how it works. With that knowledge comes a way to harness all of Eternity's natural laws. He figured out how to communicate over long distances. He invented a way to travel on strands of magic. Many of Eternity's innovations were made by this elven man.
Physical Description
Body Features
He was never the strongest elf. Rathal preferred to spend his days strengthening the mind instead of the body. As such, he had a slimmer figure than most other elves.

His is a sharper face, with narrow eyes. higher cheek bones, and long blond hair.

Personal history
Born in the southern end of Brimbaria with, (like many brimbarians) a fascination with Eternity's arcane magic. He would study it, learning from those who came before, and hoping to learn more on his own. By the time he was one hundred thirty years old, he had already secured himself a spot among the greatest of discoverers, teachers, and students of arcane magic.
By far, his greatest discovery, and invention was that of Telimagic, a method of instantaneous long range communication through the arcane strands that stretch out through all of Eternity. That alone is a massive factor in shaping Eternity into what it is today. If he had a close second greatest discovery, it would be his collaboration with Thalron Durziros, the draconin wizard. The two would determine that the different forms of Arcane Magic are best called by three sub-forms. These sub-forms being Natural, Ethereal, and Living.
Through his life, he had many discoveries, and inventions. However, it was not to last. He would die whilst performing an experiment involving some much darker magic. Some speculate he was experimenting with the magic wielded by the Children of the Eternals. None know for certain, and no one ever will.

Many times he is forced to choose between furthering his knowledge of Eternity, and finding a woman to spend eternity with. His only regret was how he too often chose the former.
Education
Even for an elf, Rathal was a genius. From the beginning, he knew more about the physical world than most other elves. In his final years, he pursued knowledge over all else.
Employment
He has been employed several times ty Brimbaria's royal court to invent a solution to a problem. This made him very wealthy, even for an elf.

The pinnacle of his carrier is the revolutionary invention of telimagic.
Failures & Embarrassments
He died suddenly during an experiment regarding the darker end of Eternity's magic. His death meant no one would ever experiment with that magic again.
