Brimbarian Skyships

The Brimbarian Skyships are the single fastest forms of transportation in Eternity. Invented by Rathal Viralan almost immediately after he invented telimagic. He originally intended to make an armored fabric for the Brimbarian soldiers that defend his home. He infused this fabric with Theorium, and took it out to test it. It flew at absurd speeds, out of his hand. The part that baffled him was, it was a windless day, and it shouldn't have flown at all. After some testing, he found the same strands that allow his Telimagic to work were moving at absurd speeds. Theorium was a metal that had magical properties of its own. Could this be why it carried the theorium fabric out of his hand? Rathal called this phenomenon Arcane Winds. He conducted the rest of his experiments indoors, as this was the only place the stuff didn't fly. He built what appeared to be a ship, only it had sails on the sides as well. he climbed on, and had his assistants push it outside.
The moment it left the building, his ship flew at the same absurd speeds that the first fabric rags flew. He flew across Brimbaria, and some of Heodar, before sundown. The only problem he encountered was the landing. He had no method of safely landing. He had to crash into a field in Heodar. His next project was making a safe method of landing his creation. He made a long pad, with a rope connected to rods, and springs. All the proceeding ships are equipped with hooks on the bottom, designed to catch this rope. This way, the flyer won't have to crash in order to stop their flight.
This creation would forever revolutionize the fields of transport, trade, recreation, and plunder. Once the Brimbarian Pirate Clans found versions of this creation, they stole, and used them to launch raids inland.

It carries itself on the same arcane strands that allow telimagic to function. These strands move very fast, and span across all of Eternity.
