First manned expedition from New Home to its closest inhabitable neighbor, Orevel.
The Orevel 1 left New Home in -183 DE and arrived in orbit around Orevel Prime -167. Over the next two years, the manned expedition would confirm what remote observation and robot probes had already shown: that Orevel Prime was a fantastic world for colonization. After two years of receiving data, the formal expedition was concluded. The expedition team of 250 people then began the initial habitation beta testing necessary to determine long term success.
