T'lean Seeding Myth

There are, of course, a number of Seeding Myths with Aerth as OHM, the Original Home of Man. And, there are a number of "Homes" which were colonized from Aerth. When humanity arrived amongst the stars, it is with great irony that we found that others had already been there: more accurately, we'd already been there. The evidence of "human" or "demi-human" cultures were impossible to ignore. How and Why, of course, became the prevalent questions. What this means is that Aerth, our original lost home, may not be our original home in the stars.   One of the increasingly popular Seeding Stories tells of a family of humans tied up in a "war amongst the heavens,” having been taken away from Aerth by the T'leans, a culture who shuffled humanity amongst the stars. When humans were transplanted, no one can agree, but definitive human artifacts have been found on other planets from more than 5,000 years ago.   Importantly, non-human Precursor artifacts of great levels of technology have been found on numerous worlds, and a few of these worlds assuredly having been populated by the T’leans themselves. More significant is that most xeno species are more accurately xeno-human species, having significantly human based DNA. However, there are non xeno-humans such as the Xin, and it is uncertain how they fit into our story.   The greater challenge to finding out more about human heritage is the loss of contact with Aerth hundreds of years ago after the First Long Night, which is different from the Long Night which New Home experienced...   Narrative and historical fragments are being pieced together which affirm the existence of all elements, and combined with the understanding that “something” stopped the Xin from the Xin destroying Home four centuries ago, the press to find more answers are foremost within the Federacy’s mind because they cannot forget the threat of a group of beings whose apparent agenda is their complete eradication.

What Minos Means

Minos is the first world with a significant number of functioning Precursor artifacts and sites. The implications are troubling, but some in the Federacy are of the mind that it means that the task of those sites are incomplete - in short, they are still here and in various states of working order because of the conjectured return of the Xin.
