Resoni

Collective term given to reasoning beings, a term coined in the Afterglow period of the Dawn Era. All intelligent beings fall in this category, very similar to the term sapient, but much expanded to include to non-human species. Resoni quite literally means "The Reasoners," though is often rendered as "The People."
