PERC

Personal Employment Role Credit, or simply Credits, are the units of exchange which a person is afforded for employment or in exchange for goods. In a Post Scarcity Economy, Permissions or Special Goods (and the legal authority to use them) are often allowed to be purchasd with Special (called Platinum) Credits.
Platinum PERCs are also awarded for extraordinary service. For example, if an individual takes up an assignment overseeing a remote mining operation in an asteroid belt that requires an Enhanced PERSONA in order to operate multiple robots, they may agree that retention of the Persona forms an adequate portion of the PERCs received.
An important part of Federacy culture is that all Capital and Prime systems are part of a functioning Post Scarcity Economy. Colonies may have achieved it or are working towards it (this especially applies to Lost and Distant/Riftside Colonies). Colonies are more likely to use RealCreds than not.
